Author(-s) Cherkasskaya N.N.
Abstract Starting from a concept that complex perlocutionary acts are connected with the process of argumentation. It is discussed in what way a complex complaint as a compound speech act could relate to an argument, the latter being analyzed as a subsidiary speech act. It is explained that argumentative speech acts provide complaints with modification of illocutionary force, its explication or enforcing of perlocutionary effect.
